Sewerage System of West Limassol - Phase B '(Contracts E18 and E13)

Contract Ε18: Construction of a sewage pumping station for transporting sewage from the northwest areas of Limassol to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Moni. In the future this pumping station will also be operating as a backup emergency unit in case of failure of the operation of the STP. The pumping station has been constructed within the programming period 2014-2020 and has been into operation since 26/1/2017.

Contract E13: This project is part of Phase B of the construction of the Sewerage system of West Limassol (following the project "Construction of a sewerage network in rural and urban areas of major Limassol - Contracts E7 and E9" of the programming period 2007-2013).

This contract concerns the construction of a new Sewage Treatment Plant in the West of Limassol, near the A’ Industrial area of Limassol with a capacity of 13,000 m3/day. The projected budget of the new West STP is estimated to be approximately €22 million (€31 million including VAT etc) for the construction and € 10 million including VAT for its operation for a period of 10 years. Additionally, the contract includes the construction of the gravity pipeline towards the STP and also the construction of an access road to the plant. The Contractor is Kruger A / S – Cybarco, the Agreement was signed on 30/11/2018 and the Contract started on January 7, 2019 and is completed in September 2022.

Sewerage System in the communities of Pyrgos and Parekklisia

Contract Ε17: This project concerns the study and construction of Sewerage system networks and pumping stations in the communities of Pyrgos - Parekklisia, in the context of compliance of Cyprus with Directive 91/271 / EEC. The two communities have joined the sewerage boundaries of the Sewerage Board of Limassol - Amathus (SBLA) and through the collection networks and pumping stations that will be constructed, will be connected to the existing Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Moni.

The Project includes three construction Contracts:
